USED ENGLISH SIDESADDLES

Champion & Wilton -  seat measures 20 1/2".   This saddle is on a standard C&W tree (fits narrow TBs) and fittings are included.    It needs repair to the underpadding.     $1200 plus shipping

USED WESTERN SIDESADDLES

A Goodnight Style western dating from about 1895. Original skirts and tapedero stirrup. The rest of saddle is beautifully redone to preserve authenticity. The late Randy Steffen wrote about a saddle nearly identical to this one in his series which appeared in Western Horseman Magazine. This is a wonderful find for a lucky rider! 18" seat $1150 plus shipping

We have two of these Whitson Hoop saddles, but only need one for display.    Seat is the standard 18" for the older saddles - and remember that the hoop allows for very little "overhang".      Since there is no leaping horn, we recommend that this saddle be used for walking demonstrations only.     Great historical piece!        Original tiny stirrup included.      $900 plus shipping

 Nice 1880s English sidesaddle - completely redone by Smith Worthington!    Beautiful pigskin leather, ready to ride.   A crupper strap is included with this saddle.   Great for historical reenactments.   

Tree is for narrower type of horse.

This used Elan is a 23" TB Wide.   That means it has a 6 inch gullet (the area at the cutback over the withers), and the bars are spread to the maximum.    Balance strap and stirrup included.

This size saddle is often used on small Friesians, large Arabians, and Thoroughbreds with wide shoulders.

There is a blemish on the upright horn, and we'll provide photos on request.       $695 plus shipping.

Elegant Champion & Wilton

This small, pretty Champion & Wilton has an oval inset suede seat.    It's one of the earlier models, circa 1920.    This saddle is in very good condition, and the seat measures 20" using the US measuring system.    The tree is the most common C&W size, which runs narrow for modern horses.   Has been  recently used on Thoroughbred.   .Trifold girth and fittings are included.     $1000

A cute little Elan that didn't meet our size requirements:     Using our standard measurement from the front edge of the upright horn to the  cantle, this little saddle measures a scant 18 inches!    GREAT find for a child!    Everything included but the stirrup and girth.

The tree is a Regular size - would work on a small, refined pony or horse.    Please note that this is NOT a saddle that would fit a round pony.         $675 plus shipping
